Hello, I am writing this letter to share a little about my story. I am a single mother; I separated from my partner when my daughter was just six months old, as the relationship was not a healthy one. Today, he is not very involved in her life, but her paternal grandmother visits her often. We attend a church in Rosarito. I do not have a steady job because I want to spend as much time as possible with my daughter. We currently live in a borrowed house, but when I learned about Casas de Esperanza, I felt inspired to apply, hoping to be blessed with a home of our own — a place where my daughter can feel safe and grow up happy. Over a year ago, I purchased a piece of land that I’ve been gradually paying off. My greatest hope is to have a stable and loving place where my daughter can grow up in peace and security.
