Hello, I am a single mother. I have a 14-year-old son and a 22-year-old nephew who has been in my care since he was 9 years old, after losing both of his parents. His mother, who was my sister, entrusted him to me before she passed away. He is now in college and works three days a week, while my son is in middle school. We moved to this piece of land to stop paying rent. When we arrived, we had two small rooms, but they were very cold and water would leak in when it rained. One of my sisters kindly lent us a trailer, which we have been living in for the past year. However, it is small and uncomfortable, and we struggle with limited space. Although money is tight, I am determined to move forward so that both of them can finish their studies, become someone in life, and that we can live in a better and more dignified home.
