LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team, my name is Alicia, and I am the mother of two beautiful children. First of all, I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity and space to share my story, and second, to tell you a little about my journey. I have been a single mother for the past four years. It has been very difficult, but by God’s grace, we have made it through. I used to rent, but it became too expensive for me. We were given the opportunity to acquire a piece of land, hoping to build on it, but the cost of building materials continues to rise. I thank God for my kind neighbors who donated racks and wood, and with that, I built a small room that has sheltered and protected us up until now. As a single mother, my greatest wish is to give my children a dignified home, which is why I reach out to you for help. I have faith that we will one day have a better house, and I leave everything in God’s hands. Thank you for your time, and may God bless you for the beautiful work you do.
