LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team, we are in need of a home because the place where we currently live is not in proper condition, as water leaks in from above. When we first arrived, some neighbors helped us build it as best they could so we wouldn’t have to sleep outside, since with what we earn we can only afford to pay for the land, utilities, and food. I work at the street market selling secondhand items that are given to me, which allows me to care for my son who needs me. We have great faith that God will help us. We sleep on two mattresses placed directly on an unpaved dirt floor, and our stove has only one working burner and leaks gas. I pray to God that you can help us with a warm and safe home to sleep in. We hope you will consider us so that our dream may come true. We have been leveling the land by hand, with great effort. Thank you very much for your attention.
