LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Rosemadeley, and my family consists of my husband Víctor, our two children —Itany, age 10, and Axel, age 7— and myself. We are originally from Oaxaca and moved to Tijuana in 2019 seeking better opportunities, as there was no work in our hometown. We went through very difficult times, especially when Axel, only a month old, had to undergo emergency surgery due to a pyloric obstruction. When we arrived, a kind woman let us stay in an unused house, which was a true blessing. My husband worked in a factory, but lost his job during the pandemic, so we began selling secondhand clothes just to eat. Thankfully, he later found work at a furniture store, and thanks to his honesty and dedication, he was promoted from salesperson to collector. This helped us save enough to pay for a plot of land and build a small room where we now live. We trust that God provides when we put our faith in Him. Still, our children deserve a better home. The place we live in now gets very cold, and when it rains, water leaks in; Axel, who suffers from allergies, is especially affected. For this reason, we humbly ask for your support in helping us obtain a proper home. May God bless you.
