LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
May God greatly bless each of you for the efforts you make to bring joy to the families who receive a home. I am originally from Chiapas and arrived in Tijuana about eight years ago with my three children. Since then, I have worked hard to pay rent and provide for our needs. I have gone through very difficult times, including the loss of my eldest son — a pain I have not been able to overcome, but one that has motivated me to keep going for my other two children. Over time, I began attending a Christian church, where I met a man whom I later married, and together we had a daughter. He worked in a factory, and I sold clothes at the street market so I could care for my children. Through much effort, we researched how to purchase land, and with God’s help, we were able to acquire a piece and build a simple home where we currently live. Though it’s modest, it is ours. However, I am now separated and once again solely responsible for my children’s expenses. That is why I humbly ask for your support in helping us live in better conditions. I am deeply grateful to the entire Homes of Hope team for the beautiful work you do.
