LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:

Dear Homes of Hope team, I am a joyful woman who enjoys helping others. I come from a family of five siblings and I’m the only girl. I believe in God, I love to praise Him, and when I can, I share about Him. I’m from Jalisco. After trying our luck in the United States, my parents brought us to Tijuana. During the pandemic, I experienced the saddest time of my life—the loss of my father. It’s hard to accept; I miss him deeply. My mother carried on without giving up, which inspires me. I found a job to support her and started working at a furniture factory. That’s where one day a young and handsome guy joined my area, and I taught him how to sand and detail furniture. That’s where our love story began. We realized we were both from Jalisco and got to know each other here in Tijuana. It was God’s hand. We've been together for three years and decided to look for land and a car. My mom and siblings also bought land and a trailer. Because of rising material costs, we haven’t been able to build yet, but here we are, enjoying the sunsets with our little boy, Dominik. We hope you can help us achieve our dream of having a home with a garden where we can enjoy the beautiful things God offers in this life. Thank you for the work you do—may God continue to bless you.
