LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team, we are writing to see if you could help us have a little house, as it is our greatest dream as a family. When we acquired the land, it was a big step, but little by little things have become more complicated. We were living in a rented place, and suddenly the owners asked us to leave. Finding a new place was difficult because I was pregnant with a high-risk pregnancy and we also had a small child. That’s when my mom opened the doors of her home to us. It was tough, as her house is small, our baby had little space, and we felt uncomfortable staying in someone else’s home. My pregnancy only lasted six months, which prevented me from working both before and after the birth. The baby was in the hospital for a month and a half. My husband was the only one supporting the family, and we had to go to the hospital twice a day while also caring for our other child. It was very difficult, and we could only hold on to God's hand because the doctors constantly gave us bad news about the baby — but after a month and a half, he made it, and now he is here with us! He still needs therapy and medical follow-ups, but we continue to trust in God that everything will be okay. Because of all these problems, it’s been impossible to continue building our house, and when we heard about you, we felt encouraged to ask for your help, which would truly change our lives and give our young children a safer environment.
