LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team, we are from Guerrero and arrived in Tijuana two years ago. We started by renting a house, but unfortunately, we were asked to leave. A cousin told us about some land, and we had the opportunity to get one. We built a wooden house with a tarp roof, arriving with nothing. For four months, we had no electricity or water. Our son got sick often, but thanks to God, we’ve been able to move forward—some good days, some bad. During the first few months, we didn’t even have enough to eat, but little by little our situation has improved. However, we still haven’t been able to build a proper home for our children. That’s why we turn to you, hoping to improve our quality of life. I thank God for you and for your attention.
