LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope, we sincerely thank you for considering us and for giving us the opportunity to be part of your program. It means a great deal to us to be able to share a part of our family's story. We began our relationship 14 years ago, and two years later, we decided to unite our lives in marriage before God. Not long afterward, we were filled with joy when we learned that we were going to become parents. However, during the pregnancy, we were informed that our baby girl had serious developmental problems because her skull and brain had not formed properly, and her chances of survival were very limited. When my wife was approximately three months pregnant, the doctors discussed the possibility of ending the pregnancy. We decided to continue until the end, trusting in God and hoping for the opportunity to meet our daughter. Our baby girl was born and lived for approximately one hour. Although losing her was an incredibly painful experience, we are grateful to God that we had the opportunity to meet her, see her beautiful face, and have her with us, even for such a short time. After her passing, it was very difficult for us to move forward and consider trying to become parents again. With time, we learned to remember our daughter with great love, recognizing her as an important part of our family and our story. Later, God allowed us to receive another blessing and once again experience the joy of parenthood. Now, after nearly 12 years of marriage, we look back on everything we have experienced and recognize how each season has strengthened our relationship. We have built a small family that is strong and rich in values, love, and faith. Our first daughter was with us for only one hour, but she left an imprint on our hearts that will remain for a lifetime. Since then, we have learned to deeply value every moment we share as a family, and we desire to continue building a home where the love, faith, and values that have sustained us remain the foundation of our story. Once again, thank you for allowing us to share something so meaningful to us and for giving us this opportunity.
