LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:

Dear Homes of Hope, I am a single mother of two girls and am currently expecting my third daughter. As a mother, I have faced many challenges while trying to provide stability and security for my daughters, which is why this opportunity means so much to us. My girls are my priority, and my greatest desire is to provide them with a home where they feel protected and where they can play, grow, and develop in a peaceful environment. One of my daughters shows traits of autism and especially needs a calm environment that supports her development. This pregnancy was not something I had planned, and when I learned that I was expecting another baby, I was filled with fear. I worried that I would not be able to provide everything my children need, and I wondered whether I would be enough to face this new season on my own. At the same time, I made a commitment to myself to do everything within my ability to give them the best future possible, because my daughters deserve to grow up feeling loved and valued. Since learning about my pregnancy, I had been sending messages to Casas de Esperanza, but for some time I did not receive a response. One day, I had an argument with the father of my daughters, and he decided to leave. Shortly afterward, I finally received a response from Casas de Esperanza. In the middle of all the uncertainty I was experiencing, I felt that God was showing me a new opportunity and reminding me that my girls and I were not alone. At the moment, we are living with my sister and her 17-year-old son in a small house. Sharing such a limited space has brought several challenges, particularly because of the age difference between the cousins and everyone's different needs. I constantly try to prevent misunderstandings and maintain peace in the home, but emotionally it has been exhausting. I long for a space of our own where my daughters can feel accepted and at peace, without fear of being judged or rejected; a place where they can play, eat, rest, and dream freely. I want a home where we can create our own memories and begin building a more stable future together. The father of my daughters continues to help me, and I am grateful for the support he has provided so far, although I do not know how long we will be able to rely on that assistance. For this reason, I want to continue doing everything I can to give my daughters as much stability as possible. Above all, I want my girls to grow up knowing that they are worthy of love, that they matter, and that their mother will always fight for them. We are a family going through many changes, but my hope is that we can have a place of our own where all three of my daughters can find peace, a sense of belonging, and the security of knowing that this home is theirs too. I sincerely appreciate your support, generosity, and the opportunity to share our story.
