LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team, as is commonly understood, a household is usually made up of parents and children; however, in our case, I am also responsible for my parents, who are 86 and 83 years old, as well as an unmarried brother who is 53. We decided to acquire a piece of land because we were living in an Infonavit house, which was far too small for our family’s needs. We trust that God will grant us the life and strength necessary to move forward, as at times our situation becomes very challenging. I do not currently work outside the home, as I care for my children and my elderly parents. Although we do not have luxuries, God has never withdrawn His mercy from us, and we are blessed with a loving family where His presence prevails. It brings me great joy to care for my parents, and I am deeply grateful for my husband, who is a devoted father and a constant support to our family. With great effort, we managed to save enough money to level the land, but when our child became ill, those funds had to be used for medical care, preventing us from making further progress. Receiving your message filled me with hope, as having a place of our own has long been a dream of mine—a home where we can begin a new chapter and where our children can witness the perseverance and dedication with which we strive to move forward.
