LETTER FROM THE FAMILY: Dear Homes of Hope team, I am reaching out with my heart in my hands to explain my situation and ask for your help. I am a widow and the mother of two daughters. When my youngest daughter was two years old, she suffered brain death; by the grace of God she survived, but our lives changed drastically from that moment on. She requires constant care and special attention. My second husband, with whom I have been for eleven years, has been a great support, but about a year ago he was diagnosed with metastatic cancer. Although he is now out of danger, our financial situation collapsed due to the medical expenses, therapies, special needs, rent, utilities, and other costs. Despite all our efforts, we are overwhelmed with debt, and my greatest desire is to provide stability for my daughters. At this moment, I need support and guidance to move forward. Recently, I have had to sell and pawn my belongings while my older daughter continues her high school studies, and I hope she can keep preparing herself to have a better future.
