Dear Homes of Hope team, my husband is originally from Chiapas, and from a very young age he had to work alongside his father, who is a construction worker. After finishing high school and facing many challenges, he decided to move to Tijuana, which is where we met. I already had two daughters from a previous relationship that did not work out. We decided to start a new family, and at that time I was renting a small room in poor condition, so we began looking for something better. I became pregnant again, and now we have three beautiful daughters. We took a risk and began making payments on a piece of land so we could provide stability for our girls—a place they can call their own, a home where they feel safe. Currently, we are living on our land, enduring cold weather and rain, but we remain united and full of faith, determined not to give up. My husband works as a delivery driver with long hours to support our family, and I clean private homes, bringing my three-year-old daughter with me.
