LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team, on January 17th of this year, there was a fire in which eight homes burned down, and ours was one of them. It was a total loss. Literally, we were left with only the clothes we were wearing, but thank God it was only material loss and not the loss of a human life. Sadly, our two cats died in the fire, and it hurt us deeply that we could not save them. We lost our home, our safe place, our car, all of our work tools—everything. That is why we are asking for your help, so that we can once again provide a home for our daughter. For now, we have been sleeping in a tent. Our neighbors have kindly allowed us to shower in their homes, and we cook with firewood on a temporary grill. We would be eternally grateful to God and to you if you could help us have a home again. We hold on to faith that better times will come and that God will provide. Thank you for listening to us and for your support.
