LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team, we have always rented and have never had a home of our own. Our oldest son has a disability affecting his spinal column; he was born with myelomeningocele and hydrocephalus. We have fought very hard to help him move forward through therapies and surgeries—he has undergone six operations so far. Thank God, everything has gone well. He also uses diapers and requires ongoing care. We dream of having a home of our own and no longer having to rent, because between the rent payments and the payments for our land, there is very little money left for anything else. I work in a factory, and my partner currently does not have stable employment because he is taking care of our infant baby at home. We hold on to hope for a house, something that would be for our children and would allow us to see them happy. We would be deeply grateful for the opportunity to receive this blessing we dream of so much.
