Dear Homes of Hope team, My name is Rubisela, and I am originally from Guerrero, Mexico. Due to the difficult economic situation, my partner Pablo and I decided to move to Tijuana in 2020 in search of better opportunities. Pablo is from Chiapas. When we arrived, we rented a place and worked hard with a family to save enough money to buy our own land, which we finally managed to do in 2024. Since we did not have enough money to build a proper house, we made a small temporary home so we could stop paying rent. Unfortunately, the house is very cold, rain leaks inside, and the wind comes through the walls. That is why we humbly turn to people with kind hearts, hoping for support to improve our home and provide a safer place for our family. Thank you very much for your kindness and support.
