LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team, we come before you with great respect and with our hearts in our hands because of the difficult situation we are currently facing. We do not have a dignified or secure home, and our living conditions are very fragile, which has led us to moments of deep worry, especially for the well-being of our daughters. We work every day to make sure nothing is lacking at home. We have been married for fifteen years, and we moved to this city in 2019 from the state of Mexico in search of better opportunities for our family. In 2023, we managed to save enough for the down payment on our piece of land, and in January 2024 we built a small temporary room with the hope of gradually improving it. However, just a few months later, the factory where my husband worked shut down. It became very difficult to continue moving forward, and we had to postpone our dream of building a home. Since then, I started looking for work and even borrowed money so my husband could buy tools and start his own small business, but because his income is not stable, we still have not been able to provide a safe home for our family. We sincerely thank you for taking the time to read our letter and consider our situation.
