LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope, my partner and I worked very hard to gradually build the small house where we currently live. While we were joyfully waiting for the birth of our son, we did everything we could to prepare the space and make it ready for him. Now that our baby is with us, we feel an even greater need to have a more suitable space for our family. Our house is extremely small, and as our son grows and begins to crawl, we would love for him to have a larger and safer place where he can move around, play, and develop. However, our desire for a larger home is not only for ourselves and our baby. We would also like my mother and brother to come live with us. My mother has a visual disability; she lost her sight 13 years ago while she was pregnant. After this happened, my father left, and since then our family has faced many changes. At the moment, we live separately, and although I try to help my mother, it is difficult because we each have our own household expenses. If we were able to live together, it would be easier to support one another as a family, share expenses, and most importantly, be close to my mother so we can accompany her and help with her needs. For us, having a home with more space would therefore have a very special meaning: it would be a place where our son could grow and where my mother, my brother, and our little family could finally live together and support one another. Thank you for listening to us and allowing us to share this hope we have for our family.
