LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the opportunity you are giving us to receive support toward having a home where my son and I can live, above all, with peace, dignity, and security. To us, a house means much more than simply having a roof over our heads. It represents the possibility of creating a safe, stable, and hope-filled space where we can live in peace, feel secure, and continue growing together as a family. When I think about our future home, I also dream about the little things that would truly make it ours. I would love to have a yard filled with beautiful plants and flowers, a space we could care for and enjoy. My son has a cat named Concha, and whenever we look for a place to rent, it is not always easy to find one that allows pets. Having our own home would mean that he could live happily with Concha without us having to worry about being separated from his pet because of rental restrictions. My son also has dreams of his own. He says he would like to set up a small stand outside our home to sell corn, and it brings me joy to see him already thinking about becoming an entrepreneur and working toward his own goals. Having a stable home would also give him a place from which he can begin dreaming and developing his ideas. Throughout this journey, I have learned to trust that God has not left us alone and that we remain in His hands. I dream of the day when we can open the door to our own home, see Concha in the yard among the plants, and watch my son begin his little corn business. To some, these may seem like simple things, but to us, they would represent the peace of knowing that we are finally home. Thank you very much for considering my son and me.
