We are a family of 9 children and me. i take on the role of mother and father because I separated from my ex-wife. Now I need help, I ask please make us a house, my kids and I would be so thankful. We live with a man in his house and the truth is that it's difficult to live here.  I have the youngest 6 kids to take care of and it i truly difficult, but they are my kids and I love them so much.Where we sleep is a small room and on one mattress the 6 youngest and I sleep. When I feel bad and before bed we read the Bible and then we go to be, sometimes without food because I don't have enough money. But the best food is the Holy Word. We wake up and pray and my kids and I always ask for a house. And I also ask of you, if you have any used clothes we would be so thankful for it. Greetings, hugs, and kisses from my kids and I. P.S, please don't forget about us, please make us our house.

Letter From the Family:

Hello, we are the Villanueva Juarez family and vía this letter I'd like to ask for your help in building my family a home.

I have been living in Tijuana for two and a half years and my husband has been living here for four years now. We are originally from Puebla. My husband moved north before my daughter and I to look for opportunities we couldn't find in the south. I was living and working with my mother in law in the fields when I decided to move north to help my husband. My daughter's name is Ivanna and she is five years old. When I first got here, we started looking for a place to rent but we quickly realized how expensive living in the North is. All the concrete houses were too much for us so we live in a little house made of wood. I was looking for a job and started to help my husband work so we could pay our bills. During that time my daughter didn't go to school so our neighboor would babysit her.

My daughter started getting really sick and very frequently. The doctors would worried about her so I stopped working as much so dedicate my time in taking care of her. The doctors started giving her treatments and thanks to God she doesn't get as sick as often. Little by little we were saving up for land when my brother in law made a down payment on a piece of land. We decided to get land next to him. It was perfect timing because the place we are living has a cockroach infestation. We put venom and killers everywhere but we can't get rid of them.

We are current on our land payments but it has been very hard on my husband to make all our ends meet. We decided to look for help and found your organization. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your help and for choosing our family. We honestly don't know where we'd be without your help. God Bless. -Martin, Claudia, and Ivanna

Letter From the Family:

Firstly I'd like to greet you with thanksgiving that you are willing to hear our situation. We are the family Balderas Varillas. My husband is Mario and I am Elizabeth. I have two kids and their names are Luis Mario and Isabela. I'm currently pregnant with my third child. My husband and I are orginally from Puebla (A State in Southern Mexico), we have been married for 11 years and we came to Tijuana four years ago so we could look for a better future for our kids. My husband came to Tijuana first, and I left my kids for a year for lack of money.

Together we went back to Puebla for our kids so that we could move north as a family. Thanks to God, everything turned out alright. When we first got our land we thought of moving here often because our rent was very expensive and we honestly, were paying to much for the conditions we were living in. When we started looking for a cheeper place to live so we could make our land payments and pay our rent, we decided to buy wood and do everything we could to raise our own house.

Some friends of ours saw that we were doing everything that we could and we were still struggling. They told us about this organization that builds homes for those in need and we decided to come apply for your help. We truly need your help and we are very thankful for everything that you guys do for people. -Balderas Varillas Family

Letter From the Family:

Through this letter I'd like to send you a warm greeting on behalf of my family and kindly ask for you to offer your help to my family. We are in need of a roof over our heads and a safe place for my children. I have two daughters, and they are my everything. In this moment we are in a very complicated situation. Four years ago a couple lent my family a piece of land and told us we could build there.

Just six months ago they informed us that they wanted to sell the land that we were living on. The owners of the property started pressuring us to leave but the only thing I could think about is how I don't have what it takes to make a better future for my daughters, I do everything that I can to help my husband but I can't work because I am ill. The doctors told me that they couldn't operate on me because of the large amounts of inflammation in my body. I suffer from cronic pain in my abdomen. I work in whatever I can when work presents itself, I just want to give my girls a better and bright future.

This is why I've come to ask for a home of hope. We need hope. With God's help we have made it this far, my sister-in-law told me about a program called "Homes of Hope" and by the grace of God I was able to find you. Goodbye for now, may God bless you always. Thank you so much.

Letter From the Family:

Hello and blessing! We are very thankful for your support and the great help that you have given us again in the form of a home. By the grace of God we have been creating our family for 28 years. We have been married for 28 years with the help of God. Also, we have 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl, and 4 grandchildren, 2 boys and 2 girls. We are a blessed family, all together we try and support each other with whatever we can. We all lived together here in the house. Each one of our children with their children had their own room and bathroom and a small living room area. We all shared a patio where we would do our washing and a tree with a hammock. We would spend of lot of time here, my grandchildren loved to hangout out on the patio. We would eat there and the kids had some toys to play with and on the weekends we would cook over firewood. God has been so good with us; he has given us our children and a family that loves each other so much. So many people helped us the day of the fire. Some of our neighbors got mad at the owners of their house because they wanted the neighbors to leave the house. And because they were angry that their owners wanted the to leave the house they lit the house on fire. And from those flames our house caught on fire. Thank the Lord that no life was lost, even though it was very sad to watch so many beautiful memories burn in that fire. And watch how in just a few minutes we were left without a home and we didn't have anytime to take anything before it was all gone. But in the middle of this God gives us strength and we are grateful to see that we are all fine. Together we give God the glory and little by little we are starting over again. The hammock and the trees didn't burn down, nor the tarp we had as a shade covering. With those trees we settled down and the neighbors began bringing us blankets and tarps and we made a room. The kids slept on the hammock and the adults slept on the ground with blankets. Amidst all of this we felt so fortunate because we were all together. And today we feel even more fortunate that you are supporting us with a house. The whole family Carranza Zony asks God to multiply greatly your work. All of us together we 12 people in our family. From all 12 of us, receive blessings and our gratefulness. God bless you, Carranza Zony Family

Hello, my name is Maria Judith Radillo Renteria. Today I come before you to ask for your help to build us a house. By my owns means I am not able to, especially with how fast you make your houses. My family and I got ourselves a piece of land on which we have made a small room, nothing luxurious. I work and my husband works as well. I have a daughter named Viviana Alexia, she is 3 years old. My son Jose de Jesus also is working. Between us 3 who are working, we sustain the expenses of the house. And even that isn't sufficient enough. My daughter Quetzal Ameyalli, because she is younger than 17 years she helps in the house by taking care of her sister. We have recently gotten our land. We decided to get the land because we were tired of renting and paying for something that would never be our own. God is generous with us just with giving us the opportunity of coming to you and asking for help. I cannot complain and I wake up every morning and give thanks to God that I have a family with good health and finally we can say "Our Home". So from my heart I ask you to build us a house, if not for me for my children. I want something better for them and their well-being. Thank you!

I would love that this Christmas, my gift would be for my family and I to be all together like in the past and to give thanks to the Lord for all the good that He is. I am already very grateful with Him for giving me the most beautiful gift, which are my children. We have been renting a house for a long time and it would be of great blessing if you came and helped us build a home. We don't have the means for a house right now and my husband works. It has been hard for him to work because he has problems with his waist, and it takes a lot of effort for him to go to work to make money for our required costs. He has to be sitting all day, starting at 5 am when he goes to work until 10:30 pm when he gets home. It is very tiring for him but he works to provide food and allow our kids go to school. Every one of my kids send their greetings and thank you with all of their heart for this opportunity you are giving them. Thank you so much and may our heavenly Father bless you!

Firstly, I would like to thank you all for assisting to my request. I would like to send a cordial greeting! The motive for which I am soliciting your support is because we are a family with less resources. We don't have the possibility of making a room worthy of living in. We don't fit, the four members of our family, in the little trailer where we sleep. My husband's salary is very low and we don't have enough money to build a house for ourselves. His salary, of $800 pesos, is just enough for us to pay for the bills.  Our land is all open and doesn't have a fence or anything around it. We don't have any furniture or appliances. We just have a stove with two burners that work. My hope is in you to build us a worthy home to sleep in, with enough room for us and without leaks in the roof. We would be so thankful to be able to start living better, it would be a huge blessing to us. Thank you so much again! God bless. From, the Avila Rojas family

The Homes of Hope team met this family through some doctors in Tijuana, when we heard of their situation we saw the obvious need this family is in. Four years ago when their youngest daughter was extremely sick, the parents received the news that at eight years old their daughter had diabetes. Two years later the eldest daughter was also diagnost with diabetes. The family started building a home before their daughters became sick but with all the medical costs they started selling all of their belongings to try to pay for medication and doctor bills.

They started borrowing money to pay off their doctors bills and then the father lost his job. He has been out of work since August and the family has worked very hard to do everything they can to keep their family stable but they are in a desperate spot and need our help. They are very thankful that you all are coming to bless them with a home, a better future, and provide them with hope.

Dear YWAM and Team,

I first want to thank you for the work that you do helping my people, I hope you are all well and I'm thankful for your attention. We as a family are asking for your help, that you would build a home for us. I've been living in a place that someone lends me, we have very few things that actually belong to us and the owners are wanting to move back into their house. We don't have electricity most of the time and when we do have it, it goes in and out. We wanted to buy estable electricity but we can't because its not our house. The owners owe a lot in water bills and water provider won't let us pay either.

We are simply waiting around for them to turn our water off. We want with all of our hearts to live on our property and to be in a safe place. Our family is made up of five people. I used to help my husband work before he left us, we were barely making it then and now that he is gone things have gotten much harder. We would be so thankful to relieve your help, knowing the heart of what you guys do and that you look for families in need we truely need your help. I want to go live on my land but it would be too dangerous for my kids to be out there unprotected. I really don't know where to turn.

Thank you for taking the time to hear about my family's situation and I'm very very thankful that we will be blessed with a home. We promise to take care of it well. God Bless You.

We would first like to thank you for reading our letter and for taking the time to hear about our situation. We have come to ask for your help because we don't know what to do on our own. We work very hard each day but we simply don't make enough for our basic costs of living. When we applied with Homes of Hope we were living with my husband's parents and it was so hard... we were very limited with what we could do, cook, times we could be in the house, how much we could use in electricity and water.

It was very hard for us because there was no space or freedom in our own home. We worked super hard living on less desirable wages to save up for a down payment on a piece of land. We have wanted for awhile to move to our land and do whatever is possible to get there. Its such a huge blessing to see that God is providing for us in our need.  Thank you for being the hands of blessing in our lives.
