Hi Homes of Hope my name is Mayra Alejandra Fuentes Maya. I have three children and I am married to Diego Humberto Cortes Fonseca. The reason for this letter is to see if it is possible to ask for help to be able to build us a home. Because of economic reasons, we haven’t been able to build ourselves one.
My husband is the only of us that is employed, and his salary is 2,500 pesos ($125 USD) where he helps a builder. I stay at home to care for our family. We purchased property two years ago and we haven’t lived on it yet.
We are living with my mother and my mother in law. The majority of our belongings have been given to us by family and friends. Thanks to God we have been very blessed. But we want to have more space for my children as all five of us currently all live in the same room.
