Dear Homes of Hope team, I write to you with the utmost respect to kindly request your support. We are a humble and hardworking family who make a living collecting and removing debris, trash, and doing all kinds of small jobs. It has been very difficult for us to build a house on our own. We are originally from Michoacán, and I came here with the dream of having a home for myself and my son. I got together with my partner, but his house burned down and we lost everything. Since the land belonged to his brother, we decided to start saving to buy our own. During this time, I became pregnant and now we have a 2-month-old baby. For now, we are living in a trailer that was given to us, but we would love to have a safe and stable place for our children. We hold on to the hope that very soon we will have something of our own, with God’s help and yours. Thank you so much!
