Dear Homes of Hope team, I write to you with great hope in my heart, after learning about the admirable work you do in supporting families like mine who dream of having a safe and stable home. We are originally from the state of Morelos, where jobs are scarce and poverty levels are high. By the hand of God, we arrived in this city, and my daily prayer is that my son never has to live in fear for his life. Even though my husband and I have been working hard for the past seven years, our income barely covers basic necessities. We have faced many hardships, far from our families, but God has never abandoned us. We have managed to acquire a plot of land, which represents the hope of a secure future, and we are currently financing it through Infonavit. At the moment, we are renting a small room, which is not enough space for our family. We long to have a home where God is the center of our lives. A house would not only give us safety, but it would provide a stable environment for our children and help us break the cycle of poverty. It is our greatest hope and source of stability.
