LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team, our family consists of my partner, my 6-year-old daughter, and me — I’m currently 7 months pregnant. A year ago, we started paying for our land with the hope of building a house, but between the rent and the land payments, we haven’t been able to build anything. Then, the owners of the house we were renting asked us to leave, so we looked at our options and decided to take out a loan to build a small room and moved onto our land. Now, instead of paying rent, we pay the loan, but the room is not comfortable enough for us and our daughter, and with the baby on the way, we are worried the place will be too cold and the baby might get sick. That’s why we were encouraged to submit an application. The idea of having a warm and welcoming home for our baby excites me — I have great faith in God. Thank you very much for listening to us.
