Dear Homes of Hope team, first, I would like to thank you for what God allows you to do, and may He bless you always. I have three children—one who is 21, another who is 20, and my youngest who is 10 years old. I do not have a stable job; I sell items at the swap meet and sometimes take orders for tamales. My husband is my greatest support, but he has a stomach hernia, and there are days when he is unable to work because of the pain he endures. We continue moving forward hand in hand with God. During the rainy season, it becomes very difficult because we have to place buckets everywhere to catch the leaks, and we fear the strong winds; only the Lord gives us the strength to keep going. Despite the hardships we have faced in recent years, we hold onto the hope of having a dignified roof over our heads. My heart is filled with faith and hope in God, and I pray that He never lets go of my hand.
