LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team, I am originally from Chiapas, which I left due to a lack of job opportunities; before leaving, I asked God for permission and guidance, and six months later I met my current partner, to whom I explained my situation, and he encouraged me to bring my son to live with us. Around that time, God gave me a dream in which I saw a beautifully colored house on a hill surrounded by many little animals, and since that day I have believed that God was promising me a home, holding on to that faith. Today I come to you asking for your support, as my son Willy has level 5 autism, and because of his condition I am unable to work; I take him to Teletón, school, therapies, and I must purchase his medications and diapers. In addition to supporting our household, my husband also provides child support for his three other children, along with paying for our land and rent, which is a heavy financial burden. We hope you will consider us, as our current home is very cold, with wind and rain coming inside; Willy has developed bronchitis, and his epilepsy has worsened. For this reason, I am seeking help in hopes that his physical condition may improve in a safer and warmer place. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
