LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team, I am originally from Chiapas, but my grandparents brought us to Tijuana when I was three years old, so I feel that this is truly my home. I never knew my father, and my mother passed away when I was six years old. I have four children of different ages, and my partner is a hardworking man with a kind heart who provides for our family. Our children are currently studying, except for our baby. This is my second letter; I had never written something like this before, but today I asked God for help. I feel nervous, but also full of faith and hope. Since June 2024, we have been living on our land after leaving my in-laws’ house with broken hearts because we were asked to leave—my sisters-in-law did not want to hear the normal noise that children make. At first, we lived in our car, then we were lent a small metal house that was very cold, and later a friend blessed us with a small wooden structure. We truly hope to qualify for your support.
