LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team, we are originally from Michoacán. We met in 2009 at a party, and he told me he lived in Rosarito. We stayed in touch throughout that year, and in 2010, when he returned to Michoacán, we decided to start a life together. I moved in with his parents, and in 2012 our son was born. Later, we got married in the church and decided to rent a small room to have more space. As time went on, we chose to grow our family and had two more children. We used all our savings to purchase a piece of land and planned to build two small rooms, but my husband became ill and suffered facial paralysis, so we had to postpone our plans. In 2024, my husband passed away in an accident, and we had to move back in with my in-laws. I began working cleaning houses, and my mother-in-law helps by taking care of the children. Right now, we are going through a very difficult situation, which is why we are reaching out to you in hopes of finding a stable home. I work very hard and promised my family that we would have a safe and dignified home. Your support would help us take an important step toward fulfilling that promise, and for that, I am truly grateful.
