Dear Homes of Hope team, like many others who come to Tijuana, we came from the south of Mexico. My husband is from Veracruz, and I am from Oaxaca. We met here years ago, and ten years ago we decided to start a family together. Since then, we have worked hard to provide for our family, and we now have a nine-year-old daughter. For many years, my husband worked at a stable, and because of that they allowed us to live there, but when it closed, we purchased a piece of land that we are still paying for in installments. I had been working at a factory that also shut down, and since then I have not been able to find another job. It has been difficult, but with God’s help we continue moving forward. some friends told us about your organization, and that is why we are reaching out to ask for the blessing of giving our daughter her own space and a dignified home.
