LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:

Dear Homes of Hope, first, I want to thank God for your lives because I believe you are a means through which He brings blessings and hope to many families, including ours. As parents, since having our children, one of our greatest desires has been to provide them with a home of their own, a place where they can grow up feeling safe and secure. However, our financial situation has not allowed us to accomplish that dream. One of the most difficult times for our family came when my husband lost his job, as he was our family's only source of income. During that time, he was offered a job outside the city and decided to accept it so that he could continue providing for us. While he was away, my children and I went to live with my mother-in-law and her partner. Living there was difficult, and there were several occasions when we were told to leave the house. Things were not easy for my husband either. The job outside the city turned out to be very different from what he had been promised. He experienced hunger and cold, performed extremely demanding physical labor, and because there was little or no phone signal, there were many times when he could not communicate with us. After several months, he returned home with an umbilical hernia caused by so much physical strain. Because of everything we were going through, we could no longer continue working toward the dream of building our home, nor did we have enough money to rent a place of our own. Despite these difficulties, my husband and I continued encouraging one another. Whenever one of us felt discouraged, the other tried to bring hope. We never stopped believing that God was listening to our prayers. Later, my parents moved to Rosarito and were able to obtain a home, which became a great blessing for us because they allowed us to live with them. My mother also began helping me care for our children, which gave me the opportunity to take temporary jobs and contribute financially alongside my husband. Through our combined efforts, we were finally able to purchase a piece of land. To us, that land represents the beginning of a dream that became even greater with the arrival of our second baby. Despite everything we have faced, we remain a family determined to move forward. Our desire is to provide our children with a safe, stable, and dignified home, and we continue walking in hope and faith, trusting that one day we will see that dream become a reality. Thank you for giving us this opportunity and for dedicating your time to our family. We pray that God will continue using your lives to bring hope to many other families, just as you have brought hope to ours. God bless you.
