Hello,

Our family and I, Maria Guadalupe, are very thankful for what you are doing for us!
We have been going through sickness with 2 of our children, Tania and Francisco.

About 4 years ago Tania's kidneys stopped working properly and Francisco was very skinny, got sinusitis and typhoid all at the same time. So it has been challenging, but we are thankful to God that He helped us!

We are very thankful now for you and the house because our children will have a safe place to stay at.

May God bless you as well,

The Garza Valencia Family.

  • Profession: Hair Stylist
  • Weekly Salary: $53

Family-

  • Eduardo- age 11

Property Information:

Time with property - 9 years

Letter From the Family:

Hello,

My name is Abelinda, I am 41 years old, I am a single mother to my two children. My son's name is Luis Eduardo, he is 11 years old, and my daughter's name is Julissa, she is 19 years old. I live in a house that has been lent to me for years. The owner of the house offered it to me because people were breaking into it. So she said I could live there to deter the break ins. I have lived in that house since I got divorced, just my children and I. I have taken care of them completely, giving them what they need.

I am a hair stylist by profession and with this job I have provided for my kids. I have also paid for the land consistently and with sacrifice. But I do this knowing that this is something that I will leave for my children. And for them I am asking you all for a house. Because, I don't have the financial means to do it myself. Myself I can just keep up with the costs of maintaining my family.

Both of my children have behavioral disorders. My daughter was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. And my son has ADD. My daughter doesn't work yet, she is still in high school. Her disorder put her back two years in school. Both my kids receive free therapy from the government insurance. I don't have to pay the government for the therapy, which is a great benefit. But, I have to pay for the transportation to take them to their appointments.

If I am blessed with a house I would be so grateful with God and you all. I have seen that you have built houses for families with mothers and fathers. I hope you would think about building for me because I am a single mother.

Thank you so much.

At the moment, we have made the effort of buying the property and have been working very hard to be able to pay it, so the house is a great help for us!

I, Francisco, as the man of the house, I have always longed to provide a home for my family, but sadly, I have never managed to do so.

We are all blessed by the opportunity.

Thank you.

With this letter I write to you about our situation why we need your help with a house. Our economic situation is not going well. We have been renting a house for 6 years. We decided to buy our own land and make monthly payments on it. We pay $117 a month for our land and $70 in rent for the house we are living in now. Truly we are struggling to cover both costs.

We heard about Homes of Hope and decided to inquire about a home. With faith in God we trust that you will give us an answer about a home.

God bless you!

Right now I am living in a house that was given to me. I am a Christian and my family and I have lived here in Rosarito for 15 years. My husband and I have been married for 14 years. God gave us our land out of his infinite mercy. I was going to return to my state where my family lives but it is so different there now and we didn't have peace about moving back. So I prayed to God for sign if we should stay here or go and 15 days later God provided us with our land! I never imagined he would provide us with land. The Lord is marvelous!

My husband is a cook and to help him I took a job at a factory working nights.

We just haven't had the money to build our own home. We would love to have a roof over our heads. The house we live in now is just lent to us and is now up for sale, so we need somewhere to go.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. God bless you.

My name is Lilia Francisca,

The truth is we are in great need for a new home from Homes of Hope. I have three children. Sadly it is has been very difficult for my husband to build us a stable home, mostly because we do not make enough money to make a dignified home. We only have enough to cover the basics. We got our land through a friend who helps those in need.

The truth is we are very much in need. If you could help us reach our dream to have a house we would be so grateful to you. We have suffered a lot, all we have is a little room that holds only what is necessary for us. The room we live in leaks, and bugs get in really easily.

I don't have any words for you about how much you would be helping us with completing our dream. It would be a huge blessing for us from God. My words are so sincere when I say how much we need a home. Thank you so much.

Hello!

We are writing this letter to ask for help. We have a lot of need where we are living now. I (Agustin) am handicapped, I have a possible hernia. The salary that I make does not cover all of our expenses. My wife also fractured her right hand at work. We are both going to therapy. We have our 12 year old daughter too.

We have struggled with making enough money to pay our land payments. The house we have made is a humble home, and it is very unpredictable with the rains.

We ask for your help to provide us with a dignified home to live in.

We will anxiously be awaiting your reply. We wish that God would bless you for the help you provide and that He would provide for all you need.

Sincerely,

Agustin

Letter From the Family:

Greetings to those who read this letter,

The reason we are asking for help with a house is that 4 years ago we got a piece of land. We came to Tijuana with just enough money for our trip here. My husband, my baby of 9 month and I came in car. When we came to Tijuana we were hoping to meet people from Veracruz, where we are from, but we didn't know anyone when we moved here. My husband started to work selling ice cream because he is older in age so people wouldn't give him work. It was a struggle for him. Now he works gathering aluminum cans to sell. Thanks to God we have never gone without food.

It took us a long time to gather all the funds to buy our land. Now we just need a home to put on the land. We want a home for our children who are 4 and 5.

We used to live in another house but recently the owner told us we needed to move. Now we live in a small room we made. .

A warm greeting to all of you who read this letter, from the Ramos Medina family.

God bless you!

We are a big family. This is why we are asking for a home. Our situation is a little complicated because there are 6 of us. 3 of them are studying and they take up all my time. I am a stay at home mom. That is why I don't have the means to work to build a home. The little that my husband sends does not cover the cost to build a home, the money we receive is for food, gas, light, diapers, milk, and the children's school expenses. Most of the time we are alone because the father of my children only comes by once a month.

Right now we are living a house that is being shared with us, it is only 2 bedrooms and very small. My children and I thank you from the bottom of our heart for your attention.

Thank you.
