Hello, my name is Viridiana and I would like to tell you a little bit of my life. 7 years ago, my husband, mother in law, brother in law and myself (at the time I was pregnant), we moved together to Tijuana. We worked really hard to build a life here starting from zero and on December 2, 2020, everything changed. The house we had been renting was right next to a factory that caught fire and took with it 5 other homes- one of them was ours. It was the hardest thing I went through in my life- we worked so hard and lost absolutely everything. For the month following, we were forced to sleep in a tent on top of our property that had been destroyed. We were freezing cold at night and without any resources- still we were grateful to God that we all made it out alive! The owner of the land allowed us to build a small structure there and we got by for a time with it. Now, we have been able to get a small property and we would love the help of Homes of Hope to build a home for our family there.
